PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs routine accounting activities, compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, and document business transactions.
- Prepares financial statements for internal and external users. Prepares balance sheets, profit and loss statements, monthly closing and cost accounting reports, and other financial reports.
- Collects and analyzes financial data, ensuring that all reporting is in compliance with GAAP reporting guidelines.
- Establish, maintain, and coordinate the implementation of accounting and accounting control procedures.
- Compiles and analyzes financial information. Develops integrated revenue/expense analyses, projections, reports, and presentations. Creates and analyzes monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and ensures financial information has been recorded accurately.
- Monitor and review accounting and related system reports for accuracy and completeness.
- Recommend, develop and maintain financial data bases, computer software systems and manual filing systems.
- Handle financial data and reports for the company’s automated financial systems.
- Interact with internal and external auditors in completing audits, if required
- Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor degree in accountant with 4 + years of experiences
- In-depth knowledge of financial statements and financial statement analysis, including an ability to analyze cash flow and the impact on the financial statements.
- Experience in GAAP reporting.
- Experience in Oil and Gas Accounting, preferred Joint Venture Accountant
- Require willingness to work a flexible schedule.
- Bilingual (English and Chinese)
