PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Performs routine accounting activities, compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, and document business transactions.
  • Prepares financial statements for internal and external users. Prepares balance sheets, profit and loss statements, monthly closing and cost accounting reports, and other financial reports.
  • Collects and analyzes financial data, ensuring that all reporting is in compliance with GAAP reporting guidelines.
  • Establish, maintain, and coordinate the implementation of accounting and accounting control procedures.
  • Compiles and analyzes financial information. Develops integrated revenue/expense analyses, projections, reports, and presentations. Creates and analyzes monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and ensures financial information has been recorded accurately.
  • Monitor and review accounting and related system reports for accuracy and completeness.
  • Recommend, develop and maintain financial data bases, computer software systems and manual filing systems.
  • Handle financial data and reports for the company’s automated financial systems.
  • Interact with internal and external auditors in completing audits, if required
  • Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor degree in accountant with 4 + years of experiences
  • In-depth knowledge of financial statements and financial statement analysis, including an ability to analyze cash flow and the impact on the financial statements.
  • Experience in GAAP reporting.
  • Experience in Oil and Gas Accounting, preferred Joint Venture Accountant
  • Require willingness to work a flexible schedule.
  • Bilingual (English and Chinese)
